Claudia has an upcoming book, Cancer: What to Do or Say—Tips for those newly diagnosed with cancer, and those wanting to help. This book has over 200 tips for people newly diagnosed with cancer, and those wanting to help. It is written without the terms fight, struggle, battle, victim, or survivor. It includes photos, email insights, humor, raw moments from diagnosis through reconstruction— with twists and turns in the journey. A light spiritual edge is woven throughout. While the foundation is based on breast cancer, many of the tips and experiences cross over to other types of cancer. Cancer:What to Do or Say is currently with an editor. Connect with Cancer:What to Do or Say through blogs, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

This book provides an intimate view of diagnosis, chemo, expansion, and surgeries. Other areas covered are lymphedema, eating during chemo, things to know prior to chemo, and things to know in general for a smooth as possible experience of cancer for all involved.

Many people don’t know what to do or say when someone is diagnosed, or needing help in not so obvious ways. This book provides friends and families ideas of how to move from feeling awkward, into being of service.
